Ropeye x Polito Sailing Team Supporting the Future of Sailing through Innovation and Sustainability

At Ropeye, we have always believed that the future of sailing lies at the intersection of innovation, research, and sustainability. These are the values that guide our work every day and it's exactly why we decided to support the Polito Sailing Team, a student-driven initiative from the Politecnico di Torino, one of Europe’s leading engineering universities.

The Polito Sailing Team is a multidisciplinary group of passionate students who design, build, and race high-performance sailing yachts including their latest creation, the Tucana, a foiling monohull developed for the 1001VelaCup, a regatta reserved for university teams that emphasizes innovation and environmental responsibility.

What impressed us most was not just their technical skill, but the clear vision they have for sustainable and cutting-edge sailing. This resonates deeply with Ropeye's philosophy: developing lightweight, efficient, and reliable hardware using advanced materials and modern production methods all with minimal environmental impact.

We are proud to contribute to this project by providing our state-of-the-art composite hardware and sharing our technical know-how. Our goal is to empower the team with the tools they need to push the boundaries of what’s possible, both on and off the water.
